our light tubes are considerably light; they are lightweight and made from durable materials to last a significant amount of time.
Our Light systems consist of Connectors, LED tubes, Power Cables, White Cable Ties & Instructions - Once constructed on floor the Light grid can then be fixed or suspended from ceiling in various ways using the screw hole provided on each connector. The Power cable plug will then need to be connected for this we recommend a qualified professional.

No, our lights need assembling once they are delivered to you
Our lighting system will come ready to be wired to your electrical circuit.
The power input can only be placed on the edge of grid / design purchased
The Number of power cables and wiring locations required is dependent on the size and amount of lighting tubes to power grid evenly. 1 cable per: (65) Standard 7W tubes (45) Large 8W tubes or (24) 16W Border tubes. This is to ensure safety and longevity of lights. Please speak with a qualified electrician to ensure that your setup is sufficient before install.

yes, you can do this by fixing the hexagon grid to your drop ceiling.
Yes, that it is possible to do so, however you may run out of connectors or LED tubes – if this is the case, please contact us via support@smg-hexagon (please note further costs may apply if you require futher parts)

Your order will be shipped from our UK hub. Domestic orders will be shipped via UPS next day delivery Monday - Friday
yes, we offer a 3 year warranty on all our light products. Should you have an issue after the 3 years please contact us and we will do our best to help you.
Yes - We have dimmable lights now available on our store, check out our dimmable section for designs & prices - (7-10 days delivery time on RBG lighting)
we send orders out Monday to Friday. Dispatch is within 24 hours of ordering if the next day is a working day.
We send all items via UPS Express delivery. Please note UPS only delivery Monday to Friday - RGB - 7-10 working days whilst standard & dimmable LED Lighting 1-2 working days
No transformers are required. Our plug and play system is exactly that. Always check with an electrician however these lights work off 100-240V. Our cable supplied will need wiring up, unless ordered RBG lighting which comes with UK plug as standard.
